Tommy Koehler

Tommy is Braemar’s fourth Director of Golf / Head Golf Professional in its fifty plus year history. He has worked in the golf industry for over a decade and 2022 will be his fourth season at Braemar. Tommy has a BA in Management from Saint John’s University where he was a DIII All-American golfer. He enjoys teaching all ages and skill levels, running things behind the scenes, and playing as much as he can. When he’s not at the course you can find him spending time with his wife and three boys, or playing/watching golf.

Scott Parssinen

Scott is excited to join the team at Braemar after 8 years of experience at other local clubs. He started his career at Wayzata Country Club, then moved onto Southview Country Club and most recently, Olympic Hills Golf Club. He attained his class A PGA certification in 2020 and enjoys playing in the MNPGA section events. He loves teaching golfers of all skill levels and abilities. Scott grew up in Bloomington and received a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Scott was recently married and resides in Robbinsdale with his wife, Brittany.

Greg is entering his 3rd year at Braemar Golf Course and enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for the game with players of all ages and ability levels. Greg is a Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada native who came to Braemar after spending 15 years in North Dakota as a Higher Education finance professional. His passion and talent for golf has led him to pursue his dream of becoming a PGA Professional and he is currently enrolled in the PGA PGM Associate Program. Greg was a multi-sport athlete growing up and played collegiate baseball for Jamestown College.

Matt Olson

Matt comes to Braemar after a career as a Flight Nurse both in Alaska and Minnesota. Matt’s excitement and passion for the game of golf is evident as he can be found at Braemar just about every day. He looks forward to passing this love for the game to all around him. He is currently enrolled in the PGA PGM Program and loves working with golfers of all ages and abilities.

Alex is joining the professional staff after working at Braemar for almost a 12 years. I have learned to golf at Braemar and have been playing here my whole life. I am excited to share the same great experiences I have had at Braemar and looking to growing the game at Braemar.

Chris Hakes

Chris grew up playing hockey, baseball, football and golf. He graduated from Edina High Shool in 2007 and has been coming to Braemar all his life. He attended the Professional Golfers Career College in Bluffton, South Carolina where he fed his passion for the game and received an degree in professional golf management. He is currently registered as a PGA Associate and is excited to teach golf at this home course.

Jennifer Huber

Jennifer brings over 20 years of experience as a golf professional to Braemar. She played collegiate golf at Southern Methodist University where she was a four-time MVP and three-time All-Conference player. After college, she pursued her dream of playing professional golf and spent five years competing on the LPGA and Futures Tours. After her playing career, she transitioned to an instructor and worked under one of the world’s premier golf instructors, Hank Haney. She was listed as one of the “Top 20 Women Instructors in Texas” in Women’s Golf Texas Magazine. She loves sharing her knowledge of the game with her students.
